![]() ![]() ![]() Needs to be fixed but I gather there aren't too many people singing diminished 5ths and needing Auto-tune so it probably won't happen soon. It can be minimized so it's out of the way, but you can't close it completely otherwise Bypass won't work. Note: there's a bug in UA's Auto-Tune plugin where automation doesn't work unless the plugin is open & visible in your DAW's main track view. This is one of the default presets shipped with the Universal Audio Antares Auto-Tune Realtime Advanced plugin. I don't know what DAW you're using but for example in Cakewalk Sonar you'd right click on the track, Add Automation Envelope, select Auto-Tune, select Bypass, then give it nodes for Off and, after the note, On again. There's literally no other way I know of. ![]() For that you'll have to use your DAW's automation to bypass the Auto-tune plugin at that moment in your song. Heaven help you if you're working with a jazz or blues vocal that dances on the blue notes like a minor 3rd (in a Major key) or a diminished 5th. Auto-tune is sketchy when it comes to Major 3rds-4th and Major 7ths-Root, and in both cases favors the latter. ![]()
